Kayak Fishing for Striper at Morgan Falls

Kayak Striper Fishing on the Chattahoochee River – Catch N Release. Finished up work and hit the river a few hours before sundown. The past few days have been rain outs. The water clarity on the Hooch is 0 to mud. And it probably will be for the next few days. But… the schoolie striper are there at Morgan Falls. In schools. So the striper should be on the move up the Chattahoochee River as the summer heats up. Most striped bass here are small fish (2-8lbs). They’re on and off, and move around from one side of the river to the other, but once you find’em it’s game on. Don’t eat these fish. Just catch n release… and enjoy the action at Morgan Falls. There are also plenty of striper to be caught downstream of Morgan Falls Dam on the Chattahoochee River.
